Meet Susan Southwick
After spending 20 years working in technology, Susan Southwick left her career behind and began a new journey as a jewelry designer. Inspired by the rhythms of the ocean and the beauty of the shore, she founded Tide Is In Jewelry Designs to bring a piece of the beach into everyday life.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and custom made using semiprecious gems and real beach sand. You can choose your sand from various beaches, or send Susan your own sand and she will handcraft a unique pendant just for you. She also offers to incorporate pet ashes, mixed with semiprecious gemstones, into deeply personal memorial pieces.

Handcraft in Sterling Silver
Each setting is hand-formed in sterling silver, then the gem and sand are carefully set and sealed to create a lasting, wearable piece of the coast.
